So I put up a photo of my self and I know I look great in it.

And I have all these matches from everyone under the sun.

Here's the catch - I don't look like this in real life. The picture is 100% me, it's not morphed or altered in any way. However it just happens to be a really good picture of me.

Most of the time I don't look like this. Which makes me wonder why bother with any of these people if they met me in real life they'd probably be disappointed that I don't look like that.

Why don't you add other pictures in addition to that one, and just use that one as your main profile picture? There's no harm in trying to go out with men in real life, just to see how it goes. Maybe you can suggest a date where neither of you has to pay anything, like a walk in the park, so that he doesn't feel pressured into spending any money on you if he doesn't like you.

I did exactly that, but I noticed before i put that main picture up I wouldn't get much matches much good quality matches.

Plus the thing is these are all high status men, why would they be interested in me? Because I'm a pretty girl.

Not because they actually like me. Without the picture I'm assuming I'd be looked at just like any other girl.

If i dated someone, no way I'd allow him to pay for anything.

I don't know how these dating sites work since I've never used them. Is it possible for you to add more pictures of you with various looks. Maybe one picture of you all done up pretty. Another wearing just a little makeup and one without makeup

i notice if women only post photos of their faces, they're ashamed of their bodies. I've also seen some photo retouching
