I've talking to this guy online for a few days and he has not asked to hang yet. It would be strictly casual. We are texting and I am giving every hint in the book to ask to meet and he hasn’t initiated.

I said he needs to make me one of his best drinks since he’s a bartender and also discussed massages. To note, I’m going on 6 months dry spell so kinda losing my mind lol.

is it too needy to say something like “maybe you can come down tomorrow and show me these skills”?

So I ended up asking him and his response was his body can’t handle drinking tonight. Ok I get that but no follow up to make plans? Like I don’t want a pen pal. We have been texting like a week so not too long but hate wasting time.

May be he is not able to understand your hints. Give him some clear hints so that he can starts to think in different way. Or may be you are giving him right hints but may be he is gay.
Or may be he is having girlfriend/wife & he is loyal to her, so he is not taking ur hints in postive way.
Ask him indirectly, don’t show him that your too much despo for him. N if he still ignores u then it’s better to stop keeping expectations from him. As expectations always hurts.
