I'm sure you've known women who found themselves in similar situations between two guys, did they ever give you any explanation for why they got into that position?

As far as I can tell, people in situations like that usually have no clear sense of self or boundaries in their relationships. It's possible that the guy kept both of you ladies around because he couldn't really make up his mind and wanted to leave his options open for as long as possible.

I don't understand why people like him are so deeply uncomfortable with themselves. It's really not that hard to just not turn into a total spaz. Just be a normal human being, don't become aggressive or weird. They don't even have to actually say what TF they're thinking. Just be like "hey, I had a great time on our date, but I don't see this heading anywhere serious. "
