What does all of this mean?

There’s this man who I’ll call Ian. Not his real name. This man on Facebook is claiming to be Ian, the same man that I’d admitted to having been in love with. He said he loves me and that he made up a woman on Facebook to play ‘his wife’ to make me jealous, because I was ignoring him. I’ve noticed this woman has since sent him a post about soulmates that he responded to with love hearts. What is this about? I find this all very confusing.

Girl, that is sooo messyyyy and weird! I would not trust any of that at all.

First of all, using a fake profile to pretend to be married just to make you jealous is psycho behavior. Like what kind of games is he playing? And then sending love heart reactions to her posts now? Ew no.

I wouldn't believe a word this dude says about his feelings for you. Clearly he has issues telling what's real and not based on creating fake identities. Who knows how much of what he's said to you was even true?

And the fact that he's still entertaining this fake wife character is super shady. God only knows what kind of weird catfishing he gets up to on the regular. I'd block and delete him on everything immediately, he sounds dodgy as hell.

You deserve so much better than some dude messing with your head with made up relationship stunts. Don't give him another second of your time or mental energy. Find a man who's real, not wasting your time with catfish cr*p games!

This means RUN!
Several possibilities here… the first is that he really is married. Because if he wanted to make you jealous and go through the trouble of making up a women he would do a girlfriend or ex girlfriend… a wife is too final. You wouldn’t want to be a home wrecker. So if he did fake all this he is stupid.
If he did make all this up he is also very deceitful.
If not stupid, and not deceitful then he is crazy….
So there you go stupid, deceitful, crazy and/or married.
None of these is what you want or need.
