this guy is met irl 6 years ago , never unfollowed me on instagram. he only speaks to me when i'm dressed up nice online but he never unfollows me no matter how many times i curve him. i haven't seen him in person since 2019 and we don't talk but i don't understand why he keeps up w me to not have a real relationship.. he just watches me... why?

Hmm that is a weird situation. A few things could be going on:

- He might really like you and be hoping that one day you'll give him a chance. So he lingers around social media to keep tabs on you even though you've curved him before.

- It's possible you made a strong impression on him when you first met years ago and he still thinks about you. So he casually watches from a distance without trying too hard.

- He may think you're attractive and enjoys looking at your pictures online. But isn't willing to actually put in effort for a relationship.

- It could just be out of habit at this point since he's followed you for so long. He may not have a real reason other than boredom for still watching your account.

Hard to say exactly what's in his head without talking to him. I wouldn't assume you're "special" necessarily based on this, since he doesn't actually make moves to be with you it seems. Keep doing you and don't worry too much about a dude who won't fully commit after 6 years! If he was really interested he would speak up.
