Strangers forever? Why won't he talk to me?

So me and this guy has a similar circle of people. So we see each other a few times per month. But everytime I’m around him. He will literally walk right past me and not say anything. If I’m talking to other people in the room. He will literally stare at me and watch me interact with them.
its so strange because his best friend speaks to me. And sometimes he goes out of his way to speak to me.
before y’all start i have tried to speak to him. But he will hurry by me so fast… i just dont get it. It makes sense for us to communicate because we have similar circles. He’s the only person I've never spoken with.
It’s to the point where i feel like maybe i did something to him? But i dont know what?
Making a friend has never been this hard for me. It’s starting to bother me hence why I’m in this site asking ab it lol

Dang girl, that is super weird behavior from this guy! I don't know what his deal is, but I definitely wouldn't take it personally. Some people are just awkward I guess.

A few thoughts - Maybe he likes you and doesn't know how to act normal around you? Guys can be real awkward when they have a crush sometimes. Or maybe there was some kind of misunderstanding or something you said that he twisted the wrong way? I wouldn't assume you did anything wrong though without knowing for sure.

If it were me, I'd keep trying to include him in friendly conversations when you're all together in a group. That way he can't avoid talking to you as easily. Smile and say hi anytime you make eye contact too so he knows you're being cool. His friend seems to like you, so maybe you could also ask his friend if he knows what's up with the weird silent treatment.

Ultimately try not to overthink it or take it personally. His strange behavior says more about him than you! If he still ignores you after more friendly attempts, then forget about him - you don't need the drama of wondering what you did. But hopefully with some casual inclusion he'll come around. It’s just really hard to tell even if you didn’t do anything wrong some people may feel like you did. But honestly unless there is just a emergency. If someone isn’t willing to talk to you, they’re really not worth your time. If I try to talk to someone and they ignore me intentionally I’m just not going to talk to them anymore unless the buildings on fire and they’re the only one around.

Even if you did do something (which I have no reason to think you did) he should talk to you about it and not ignore you.

I think it’s super odd that he stares staring can be rude. If you catch him stating just give a dirty look and maybe he will stop.

I wouldn’t take it to heart. Some people are just like that for one reason or another. Maybe he’s not friendly, maybe he just doesn’t like you, maybe he does like you and gets nervous, it’s just hard to tell. But I personally wouldn’t worry about it.
