I can only he is more of a submissive guys and he is doing it more sexual. Some girls call guys daddy it's basically the same thing just the other way around. Not something I would ever say but some guys yes.

It maybe because you are older than. Only thing I can think of is he thought it was a cute way to tease you for being older or he puts you in the more head if the relationship role and thought it was appropriate. I think it's weird too honestly.
