During conversation, we have prolonged eye contact. What could that mean?

When we talk we hold each others gaze. We do it for an extended amount of time. It’s like he’s looking in my eyes and I’m looking in his while one of us is talking. We hold eye contact eventually one of us breaks away. Then at some point our eyes connect again. It only happens with him. I’m not holding eye contact for this long with other people.

What am I supposed to do? It’s just eye contact. He always makes time to talk to me (even when he is busy) and we usually talk for a long time. He laughs a lot when we do talk. But that’s it. I don’t get any other signs.
