Looks like my boyfriend has a lot to do, cause he even skipped lunch break to stay in the office.
I feel like our date won't happen, but I want to. aski him about it anyway.
Should I?

I believe in any given relationship (unless you are just friends with benefits or have a mutual agreement of not interfering into ones life) then you have the right to ask if a date night/dinner/anything for that matter is going to be cancelled or not. You have the right to know what you should do if the other person doesn't take the initiative to inform you about it. You are in it together and as much as he should be respected for working hard, you should for being patient and committing to the relationship! You deserve to know what the plot is so you can make other plans if necessary.
Hope it worked out!
