So I was working with this guy yesterday and he asked me if I had much planned for the weekend (It was Monday night). I actually did have my entire weekend booked up because I am attending a seminar and explained this to him and he asked me a fair bit about it. I then asked him if he had anything planned and he said, "Not much to be honest, I might picked up an extra shift at my other job."
Last week he'd also asked what I was doing for my annual leave (Which I scheduled for this weekend's seminar), but I'd assumed he meant a different lot I'm taking in another month so prattled on about that.
Anyway, I'm having a slightly hard time reading this guy. Do you think he asked just to make conversation? In my experience most people ask about plans on the weekend around Wednesday.
Previously it had been slient (not an uncomfortable silence, we had music going and were just doing our own thing) and he had been playing around on his phone (He spent most of the shift playing on his phone, although he did talk to me.)
