Okay I have this guy friend and we been friends for two years and I was telling him about some other guy but he was like “no comment smh”

Depends what you said. "No comment" means no comment. Nothing more needs said. It's typically not a good thing but isn't necessarily a bad thing. It means "at best I don't care about what you said, but I am acknowledging that I heard what you said". And at worst "I don't want to heat what you just said". And that can have many different reasons. Which is why context is important.
