He comes up and says I heard a rumor it’s your bday today you’re like what 37? I’m like 27 I know he probably was messing around with that part but he wished me a happy birthday I was surprised bc he clearly new I didn’t want to talk to him and yet he still came up why?
Girl, it sounds like maybe he was trying to make amends in his own goofy way! Even if y'all had that fight, he still remembered it was your bday which is kinda sweet.
Guys can be clueless sometimes with the apologizing stuff. Maybe bringing up your age was his attempt at a joke to lighten things up, since birthdays can feel like a big deal. Not the smoothest move but his heart seemed in the right place!
I'd take it as a good sign he came up to wish you happy bday at all after arguing. Seems like he still cares enough to make the effort. If you're over being mad at him, maybe give him another chance to talk it out?
Or you could just say thanks for the bday wish and see how he reacts before fully forgiving him yet. Either way, looks like he wants to patch things up! This could be your chance to clear the air.

To wish you a happy birthday? If he would have ignored you then you would have thrown a fit about missing your birthday. Since you messed up the most then why aren't you apologizing?
It’s your birthday, it would be rude for him to say nothing at all especially assuming you are friends.
