I’ve gotten to know him and we are close usually he opened up about his dads passing
and we always joked about how we’re like twins
he said to me before he hopes we have a connection
he has told me about his issues with his roommate
usually when I get emotional he is ok with me he is patient He told me before to never to be embarrassed for crying or to say sorry
but today he kind of just snapped at me asking what’s wrong with me
so I’m a bit hurt I don’t know what I should do

Everyone has their breaking point I'd say don't let it get to you. If it was that out of character.
