Why is my boyfriend only adding ladies on social media?

I recently found a dunkin Donuts receipt in his car for 2 woman at work. He swear he picked up their food but I have my doubts. There was trash on the floor of his car from dunkin. Also it seems he's just getting to friendly with female staff, there is a new girl who he keeps mentioning frequently... We been together almost 3 years but my trust in him is not great because he keeps hiding stuff. He said this new girl asked to add him on facebook incase she needs to get into work and the door is locked. Like call the job but no we gotta add each other on facebook... Also he never adds any males from work. So im unsure of how much I can trust him. Any advice is appreciated.

Girl, I totally understand why you're feeling uneasy about all this. A few red flags for sure:

- The receipt + Dunkin trash is suspicious. Possible he's lying about just picking up their food.

- Mentioning the new girl a lot is weird if they're just coworkers. Feels like he's already emotionally/mentally checking out of your relationship.

- Adding only the ladies on social media is shady. What's he trying to hide or get out of that?

- Using the "in case she needs to get into work" excuse for adding her on FB is lame. No guy just does that platonically.

At this point I'd say trust your gut instincts. He's consistently doing little things to break your trust instead of building it back up. You don't deserve to be questioning him like this after 3 years!

I think sit him down and be really honest about how his actions are making you feel disrespected. Decide your boundaries like no opposite-sex solo lunches, hiding phones, etc. If he keeps dismissing you, you might need to reconsider being with someone who doesn't prioritize your feelings girl. You deserve so much better! Feel free to vent to me anytime - we'll get through this!
