Why do some guys not give up when I ignore them?

Why does he keep trying to get my attention when I’m obviously ignoring him? Not playing hard to get, I’m just not interested because he already has a girlfriend….

Is it possible you could be misreading the signals?

If he sees you as a nothing more than a friend, merely talking to you is not wrong. So if you want to ignore him, you should either tell him you have a problem with the situation, in which case then he would be wrong for trying to talk to you, or just make a better job of ignoring him.

No. He stares at me way too much. He’s even thrown stuff down behind me sometimes. And I fully ignore him and have been for weeks.
