Please help me understand the guy or the issue?

He liked me and followed me around. Always trinv to initiate talk or standing next to me I avoided but once tried to congratulate and he acted like he doesn’t care. The next day he proposed in front of the whole school and I left without saying a word. He again pursued me by coming to my class in every possible opportunity. But towards the end of the schooling, teachers found out, embarrassed him and he started ignoring. His pattern is observe from far without a word.

Fast forward we met. He acts like he don’t know me. However I smell something odd.

1. He cancels on dates last minute, makes me go to the venue but observes me from far.

2. Records my calls and repeatedly listens to it

3. Denied knowing me even when we meet irl or eye contact but then follows me from behind

4. Doesn’t like any guys around me or shops them away

5. Territorial like a dog

6. Jerk, cruel and inconsiderate when I talk

7. Randomly follows my socials and remain silent or follow and unfollow

8. Turns onn read receipts to know if I have read and ignored and then turn it off

9. Ask me to leave him and when I’m with my dates, he tried to break that by bitching about me to them so they leave me.
10. Constant lies and manipulation

11. I once asked him to call my new number.10 minutes later he didn’t call do I deleted and on the 11th minute I get his calls

12. He needs me to be agreeable even though he doesn’t want (eg: he wants me to agree on a pet and would force me but will not get one)

I'm just looking at his manipulation and control tactics. You better learn how to identify and get rid of these types of people in general or you're going to end up dealing with some bullshit in the long run. Just saying...

All you need to know is that he’s toxic. It’s only going to hurt your head to try to understand this type of individual’s odd intentions and thinking, pretty sure he doesn’t even know what he wants. Best to move on and cut ties in all type of ways.

Despite all the reasons that could possibly be behind his behaviour, you need to decide if he's worth putting up for, otherwise you should clean out the space he takes and wait for someone who presents themselves in the manner you prefer.

In a very short sentence RUN SIS!! place a restraining order, this is obsessive narcissistic behaviour, far more dangerous than you think, this isn’t a toy issue and shouldn’t be taken too lightly, you’re not overthinking, trust your guts.
Let close friends and family members know about this matter, as well as reporting this to the police authorities.
I have heard stories like these online and most likely didn’t end well, leading them to be in threatening situations.
Please don’t be a victim of the unknown, take legal actions against him, this is beyond toxic.
You deserve better! And I truly hope you get out of this mess, take care of yourself first wherever you’re ❤️
