Guys, when a guy is conflicted about a girl does it mean he doesn’t like her and have you felt this way but ended up liking her?

I should abhor this girl, but my brain doesn't work right when it comes to her. I feel the opposite of what I should.

Nope. I do occasionally drink a good bit, but it isn't something I have used to treat my ailment.

Oh and I asked cause this conflicted post is about this guy I like and we both mutually like each other he’s 26 I’m 27 he’s an alcholic and I anxiously texting due me missing him but I do give him space it’s hard, but he’s also admitted he’s conflicted but he wanted to do coffee dates and have an emotional and physical and I don't know I’m there for him and I know I can not fix him.
