Why’d this man avoid me like I was some weirdo?

Okay so I’m walking out from the hospital doors right? I know I don’t look too terrible lmao but once I walk out, I make eye contact with this guy as he’s drinking his coffee. He’s on the curb waiting and I make my way to wait there as well. The thing is, immediately after he speeds off to the middle of the street to wait instead.

I’ve been thinking about this for like 3 days and I’m just like damn was I really that weird looking to this man that he’d rather wait on the street. I also don’t know this man, it makes it worse cause I thought he was kind of cute. Very peculiar interaction.

Anyways, what do you guys think?

The reason is simple and I do act the same with people I know can give me potential problems.

Most likely, he did not want to be seen near you because he has either a fear of women, he has been accused of molesting women, he was waiting for a girlfriend or wife and did not want to be seen near you or he has other personal reasons for him to behave that way.

I also avoid being near people that I know may cause me problems. If I am walking alone on a sidewalk and a guy or group of men come across, I move to the opposite sidewalk in order not to be potentially harassed or catcalled. Better safe than sorry.
