Ever encountered someone in a bar and not been 100% sure who it was?

it happened to me on the weekend , to explain a couple years ago i meet this girl who was a cashier at a thrift store in another city. always kind of obsessed with her and tried to talk to her when i saw her there but it never lead anywhere.

eventually she left that job and moved on with her life , she went to school in another city.

on the weekend i happened to be at a bar in that city. i knew she went to school there ( as i had seen her social media ) but hadn't seen her since she left that job over a year and half ago maybe longer

at some point i saw a girl i though could be her but wasn't 100 % sure for some reason you think i'd know rate away as i was pretty obsessed with her but i wasn't

later in the night this girl and 2 other girls who she knew somehow came up to me at the bar and i actually bought them all a shot. and she told me her name it was the same name as girl from thrift store and a fairly uncommon name for a girl. she even took a picture of us together but never mentioned she had seen me before earlier in her life

i guess it must of really been her but still had doubts for some reason

Well it probably was and yeah had this happen to a highschool friend of mine!

She wanted to date me so bad then!

it more than likely was her , i search the bars instagram page and her account came up as following it and also only person with that first name following the bar out of almost 3000 followers

one weird thing that gave me doubts was girl at bar had her belly button pierced , the pictures of this girl i saw online don't show her with one but maybe she got it done more recently as there weren't any pictures of her that showed belly recently? or its just rarely in her pictures

now that i know she goes to that bar , could go back at some point and maybe see her again although not in that city every week , she does like country and its having a country night in a couple weeks so that might be next option

her instagram only has a couple hundred followers though and is private so she might wonder how i found her

the fact she was so comfortable being rate near me and such does give off impression she knew me and only way she could know me as if she was girl i had meet earlier at that store.

the vibe she gave off that night doesn't really remind me of something a stranger would do , seems very much like something you'd do if you knew the other person , almost like you hadn't seen them in a while

but weird she didn't mention anything about it , maybe embarrassed she worked there? the thrift store

she still hasn't posted anything new to her social media yet , although think that might be another clue it really was her. cause she wasn't with her normal group of friends that night , she has a sister same age and she wasn't there and also hasn't posted anything from last weekend

so it doesn't appear they did anything together as a group

the bar also posted some pictures but only about a dozen to its instagram page but none featured her and doesn't appear to be any other pictures from that night on there page

it must of been her , can't think of who else it could be , no one else from that bar or area has same first name
