Would a guy ignore your dm for a month and then open it and not respond if he likes you?

It’s possible my message got kind of buried but I don’t know. This guy acted flirty towards me at my brothers party but when I messaged him on Snapchat, he didn’t open it for a month and when he finally did open it, he never responded. My friend who knows a bit more about the situation still thinks he likes me because apparently her ex did the same thing to her but they still ended up together, but I’m not sure.

If he didn’t respond you about a month, you are not important. If you are not important he is doesn’t like you. If someone like you, he would find a way to contact you as much as possible. No one is too busy, it’s not about priorities.


And your friend had the same situation but they he is her ex now right? So they are not even a good choice for example.

So he is an asshole who is not interested in you. If he really liked you, he would use every opportunity to talk to you, invite you for a walk, etc.

Typically when someone likes someone like that, respond pretty quickly. Even if they were busy and opened it later, they would at least say “I’m sorry I didn’t see this.”

If someone refuses to talk to you even after seeing it. Forget it I know someone doesn’t legally owe you a response but it’s cowardly and people who get angry at me saying that are those kinds of people.

It’s not worth it trying to communicate with someone who intentionally ignores you. Now sone people think someone not responding in 5 minutes even if they’re at work or it’s 3 in the morning that’s different. But over a month forget it. If he likes you he knows where to find you.

I would move on personally if I messaged a chick a month ago and she never responded despite seeing it.

No. I would never do that. If I do it, it was earned. It was more a joke to see what she'd do... if anything. I don't know why she'd bother after six months and it was more a science experiment on my part.
