I'd want the genuinely honest and loving guy. The don't care guy is only in it for himself and the "nice" guy generally isn't nice, he's just doing things he believes will get him laid. Both are problematic.
I’m usually a nice person to everyone. But I’m trying new things. Like trying not to care what others think of me. I’ve toned down a lot on the people pleasing. And I used to care if I made someone mad like a coworker. I’m just trying to better myself. Any advice is appreciated.
Just be genuine and stop trying to be things you're not. What's gonna end up happening is you are going to put on a persona for someone and eventually drop it over time, and they may not even know who you are anymore.
I'm kind of a people pleaser myself. So was my mom. We both ended up ok. You will too. Just don't let people take advantage of you is all.
