Guy's Behavior

He leaves me on read and never responds until hours later?

Me and this guy have been texting for a few days. We made it clear we like each other. But he’ll leave me on read for 4+ hours. In the beginning we’ll be on the phone at night, I understand all have lives and work. He’ll want to talk on the phone but soon as the time comes he’ll go ghost and respond in the morning that he went to sleep being very tired. Should I just fall back and give him space?
