Why would a guy have a mixed communication style?

Guy replies within a few minutes when we’re in an argument or have differences in opinion. He will come on the chat STRAIGHT away. However he doesn’t respond for hours sometimes when we’re on good terms. What could be the reason for this?

He also sometimes messages a lot when on good terms but it’s all pretty mixed up. He is a VERY fast texter. I’m sure he’s doing this on purpose. What could be the reason for this?

Hmm that is weird, sis! Guys can be so confusing sometimes. A few possibilities that come to mind:

- He might get more excited to chat when you're debating/arguing cuz he likes the challenge or drama of it. Boring small talk is less interesting for him.

- He could be trying to play games or seem "hard to get" by taking forever to respond when things are good. So dumb but some guys think that's cool!

- Or maybe he just doesn't like really relaxing and chatting when nothing juicy is happening. Dudes like that thrill of something exciting going on.

- Deep down he might worry about coming on too strong or getting attached if the convos are too happy and lovey-dubby. So he creates distance.

- He's terrible at communication skills and has no awareness of how mixed signals can drive a girl nuts!

Either way it's giving me major ick vibes sis. I'd give him a taste of his own medicine - take forever to text back and keep him on his toes! And make sure he steps up his game if he wants to keep you around. You deserve better than hot and cold BS!
