What makes some guys give their opinions in direct messages?

Why would they send their opinion to DM instead of just right away to the Question.

A lot of the reason may have to do on the question you asked. If it was sexual in any way the person might want to start discussing said sexual thing in DM. That is why I have my DMs set to only those that I follow because I don't want any unnessecary attempts to talk sex to me. I have no desire to and will answer questions like that publicly. If it was not that type of question it could just be a simple attempt to see if you are responsive in DM so they can have a conversation in private. Just beware that those often (again) turn sexual. You can change your settings if you wish. If you don't know how let me know in a reply and I will give you the steps.

Yeah, sometimes that just regular question has nothing to do with any sexual. Or even just text to say
“Thanks for your opinion”.
Like why would u not just saying that in the question.

No clue. Seems pointless, which is why I say they are probably testing to see if you will DM them back. Then comes the sex stuff more often than not.

I've had women do it to me too, either it's private, they don't feel comfortable saying it publicly or it's something they know with bring hate from others or bring perverts in the specific cases I've witnessed, although with dudes on here it's possible they just wanted to slide in your dms and found a way to do so.

Sometimes the subject is to sensitive for them to discuss in public.

This is so weird because I answered one of your questions and it was basically about the same thing you're asking right now for me I feel things coming from people's words and if I'm correct I don't want to answer the question so everybody else can read it because the questions pretty deep and could mean a couple different things and I don't want to assume and just say how I feel because that would embarrass you and I wouldn't want that I would rather just talk to you personally and say this is what I feel I hope you're okay blah blah blah and it's for me it's a respect thing you know I would rather just receive respectful because I don't know if what I'm thinking is right or not but I'm curious and I want to give the best answer to you that's why I asked to DM me for anybody just send me at the end because I don't want to embarrass them all right don't want to disrespect them but I want to help them is what I want to do

I've had women do this with me before too. Sometimes it's sexual, other times it was related to a post I made and they didn't feel comfortable giving their opinion out loud for fear of other women hating them.

I do this very rarely and if I do it's because I don't want the content to be on blast. I think the last time it was because I believed someone was suicidal.

1) They want to slide in your dms.
