I was at a bar. This guy, who was gay (I'm not by the way), was sitting one seat away from me. I was pretty drunk. I think at a time I looked in his direction, he looked at me, I smiled to be friendly. He said I had a nice smile then moved next to me to talk. I figured he was being friendly. He said he had a boyfriend. Just barely after talking to him (like literally a few minutes), he asked for my number and instagram. Normally, I wouldn't have given, but I was really drunk. Then he texted me if I wanted to fuck around tonight. I was kind of confused, he said he had a boyfriend, so I thought he was being friendly. Later in the night, after I left, he texted me a few times on phone and instagram, saying, "hey", "wya", "you up", etc. It was at like 2:30 AM at the time. Just kind of curious of the interaction lol.

Woah, that's a pretty wild interaction with that guy at the bar, dude. From the sounds of it, he was definitely hitting on you, even though he said he had a boyfriend.
The fact that he moved right next to you and then asked for your number and Insta just a few minutes after talking is a pretty clear sign he was trying to hook up. Asking if you wanted to "fuck around" that night? Yeah, that guy was definitely shooting his shot, even though he claimed to have a boyfriend.
And then the late night texts trying to see where you were and if you were still up? That's some classic drunk booty call behavior right there. He was definitely trying to get you to come meet up with him, even though he was supposedly in a relationship.
Honestly, it seems like this dude was just trying to cheat on his boyfriend or mess around behind his back. The boyfriend claim was probably just an excuse to try and downplay the flirtation. But his actions told a different story.
I get that you were pretty drunk at the time, so you were probably a bit confused by the whole situation. But looking back on it now, it seems pretty clear that this guy was hitting on you and trying to get you to hook up, even though he had a boyfriend.
The best thing to do would have been to shut that down right away and not give him your contact info. But since you were inebriated, I can understand why you might have gone along with it a bit. Just chalk it up to a drunken misunderstanding and don't feel too bad about it.
Next time, though, trust your gut if someone is acting super flirty and pushy, even if they claim to have a partner. Don't be afraid to shut that down, no matter how drunk you are. Your safety and comfort should always come first, you feel me?
Maybe, perhaps not. Don't overthink it so much.
