When someone asks something and then as soon as he gets what he wants he pulls away.. what kind of personality is that? Is he avoidant?

Is he avoidant or something?
For example if he asks u for an intimate photos and then he suddenly pulls away after that and even after any emotional talks

Even though he is the one who starts this kind of closeness and asks for it
It’s just like he gets overwhelmed by the same thing he asked for.. what type of personality is that?

i know it’s unhealthy and everything and i don’t have intention on keeping up with them but i genuinely need to understand why is he behaving like that!!

Alternative explanation: it took all the courage he could muster in November to ask for your number. After dealing with family stuff etc... through the holidays, he once again screws up his courage and contacts you. He might be avoident, narcissistic or what ever negative label you what to put on him, but he might also be shy, inexperienced or previously hurt. I'm not suggesting you marry the guy, but maybe just give him a chance, maybe even a little help getting started to boost his confidence. You may be pleasantly suprised at what kind of guy he is if just given a little grace. Now if you go out with him, and he turns out to be a jerk, then drop his ass. Not every frog is a prince.

That is typical male behavior, but thankfully they are not all like that.
