And at one point he smiled at me. Also when I was at the Christmas swing dance I was coming from the restroom and a guy that I know and was there at the swing dance was standing in the hallway as I walked by and he staring and smiling. Then a month later when I was at another dance I was sitting down and he came over and stood next to me, smiled and then walked away. I was just wondering what it all means?

Hmm, it sounds like these guys might be interested in you, girl. The smiling, the lingering glances, the coming over to where you're sitting - those are all pretty clear signs they've got their eye on you.
Now, I know you've got a boyfriend, so that makes things a little tricky. These dudes might not realize you're taken, or they could just be testing the waters to see if you're available. Either way, it's a little disrespectful to your man.
My advice would be to make it super clear to these other guys that you're in a committed relationship. Next time they come around acting all flirty, politely let them know you're not available. Don't lead them on or give them any false hope.
You gotta shut that down before it becomes a whole thing, ya know? The last thing you want is some drama at the dance parties with these guys trying to get between you and your boyfriend. Keep things strictly platonic.
If they keep persisting even after you make it clear you're taken, then you might need to consider distancing yourself from them a bit. Your relationship with your boyfriend should be the priority here.
Just be firm, but also try to stay cool about it. No need to start any beef or make a big scene. Just make your boundaries clear and hopefully they'll back off.
Let me know if you have any other questions! I'm happy to give you more advice on handling this flirty dance partner situation.
What it means that guys are being polite and smiling at you? Nothing. You're just hypersensitive and possibly fishing for some kind of complimentary thing that will encourage you to read into something that's just a standard courtesy.
How many times can you say swing dance in a question. It's not even relevant to what you're asking, it could have happened at a car wash.
