I betrayed his trust in a way that I can’t undo. He would have to get past this and he said it’s hard for him to get over so he wants to be just friends.

But after he said he didn’t trust me anymore he said he “still thought I was hot af and he enjoyed being my friend.”

Am I reading into him calling me hot af too much? Sounds kind of contradictory to me.

Men think with their genitals even if the are hurt to the core. Nothing unusual about that behavior even though he is no longer perceiving you the way he did before you betrayed his trust. It is not important how you did it but just the fact that you did it.

If he has a minimum of self-esteem and dignity, then he will not go back on his word just to see you as his friend. However, if he lets himself be ruled by his testosterone, then he is a weak guy with no personality and the call of his testosterone will make him forget the betrayal.

Why do you even want to tempt him. Let him go because you would not make anyone a favor by tempting him. You did what you had to do and blew your chance.

It means he physically WANTS to jump your bones but isn't interested in doing it bc of whatever happened between you.

Yeah, if a man is still very attracted to you, it means that somewhere down the line he'll want you again.. If you play it right, he'll probably give you another chance.. He honestly doesn't want to be "friends" he's just keeping and appreciating you at arms length it seems.
