Why would my cousin throw a tamper tantrums for paying and putting regular gas on his truck?

My cousin ask me if he could borrow cash to full his truck with deasel I was confused why he wanted deasel instead of regular gas for his truck which was more cheaper I always used gas in my dodge 1500 and I spend $80 it saves a lot. Now my cousin this is why I hate my own generation he is age 33 but it's like he is acting like a 5 year old drowning a tamper tantrums. I wanted to make sure my cousin was actually using gas. So I went and took his heavy duty truck. Now the gas dude try to scam me and wanted to forced me to put deasel I am the sweet person but in this kind of situation I had to get angry and demanding. Now I am all about saving money so I put gas on my cousin truck now my cousin instead of being greatful and thankful he is screaming yelling at me to the point where he is calling me a stupid dumb blonde claiming it's my fault his stupid heavy duty truck is in the mechanic and how he has to replace an engineer whatever. Why didy cousin treated me badly and name calling me after I did him a favor? Why does he like to show off everyone he is buying deasel for his stupid truck when people do not care at gas station if your from luxury people at gas station do what they need to do put gas called it a day and let's go! Why is my cousin so into expensive stuff?

Hard to tell how serious you are but I'll assumr this is in good faith!

When you put normal gas in a diesel engine that often leads to something called knocking. Which basically means repeated misfire in the engine, after which the engine is quite likely to suffer engine failure and basically break. Some engines can handle both, so you being unaware is not that crazy.

Its sort of like how you don't pour gas into a human for dinner. You have to match what fuel someone needs and diesel engines need diesel.

Your mistake is understandable and you are absolutely not the first to make it. That said, you did outright ruin his car and people did try to warn you. Apologize, if able to, pay for the damage you caused, and learn not to do the same thing again.
