Guys, What does it mean from a guys perspective/guys world- if he says he needs space after a fight?

We fought- i screamed- then he tried to explain and then said youve already made up your mind- then he said he is done- and then he ghosted- and then said he needs space- than he himself followed and then unfollow me- and then again said he needs space (said he cannot feel anything cause of seizure meds, said he doesn't feel anything for anyone cause of the meds and after all that happened apparently) -its been a month

Im not sure how much of the meds part true and bs- how can someone not feel

I don't know either about meds.

But in terms of fights... I don't like them and one is one too many. If it has been a month, that is a long time in a relationship. It is enough time to get over someone after all.

I might need a few days to calm down before I start thinking she is cute and maybe I was over the top and maybe she is not so bad after all. And have a talk about getting on better.

At a month I think needing some space, and the meds line is quietly exiting stage left.

If you do want him in your life, then make contact and see if he still wants you. You'd be best of regarding it as a new relationship at this point, if it happens.

He needs time to think. He is likely thinking of this is worth it or not, if he is wrong or not, what is the best path forward. It takes me a while to process my feelings. Drugs can certainly numb you. Many people take illegal drugs to get numb to their feeling as perhaps something traumatic happened in their childhood or perhaps PTSD. His sounds medical but can certainly have an effect.

So he needs time to process all of this and how he feels about it. For me it can take 3 weeks or more to process things. Once done, he will let you j ow. He also may have limits in his mind going forward if he stays with you. Cross the limit and he will act quickly in what he has decided.

I don't know what it is about the meds but I would say you have no option but to wait it out. When you need space you need space. It means you are rethinking the relationship. It may go your way but it may not. The worst thing you can do is try to push it because that will almost certainly push him away for good.

If you still want the relationship you can do this.

If you haven't already done so you can send him a message telling him that you still care about him and want the relationship to continue but that you want to respect his need for space so you won't impose on him and hope that he will contact you when he feels ready to do so.

In the meantime, be prepared for whatever his answer is. If you need to move on that's what you will have to do. He also needs to understand the position he is putting you in.

You need to use this time to start preparing to move on if the relationship doesn't work out. You don't want to be caught by surprise because that will hurt even more.

yeah i mean i dont know specifically about your alls situation, but generally everything needs some balance, which includes “space” to breath and also time spent together. sometimes they may want space just to not be as stressed out. like for instance my ex girlfriend, when we broke up, i realized there was stuff in our relationship that i wasn't processing correctly because i was scared to like think around her, i mean in the same way i would be able to if i was on my own. not that that was her fault, i mean it was mostly my own social anxiety which I've had issues with since middle school. but now our relationship has improved a lot cause were not stressing each other out. i mean i still miss her, but i wouldn't want to be with her if it was stressing her out more. really what my soul wants to do more than be with her is clear the remaining unresolved issues and karma. and that is something that takes time and discipline, and also self love i think thank you

"I need space" is one of two things. #1 I'm so angry I need to get away from you so I don't hurt you, or #2 It's over, just don't want any more drama. As for the meds, not familiar with anything like that, but can't swear it isn't true. Either way, this is over move on.

If it's a long break, same thing, but also deciding if the relationship is worth keeping. Sex is a huge distraction in a relationship. The hormones are stronger than the brain, and taking a break helps clear our heads so we can truly think things through. (I didn't learn that until my last relationship.)

It's always an internal battle with a guy in a relationship where she is hot and fun, but she also has a lot of drama with her personality. Eventually the drama overwhelms the hotness and he bails

I think, you've been in a long relationship with him. He will take more time if you have more complex fight (making him feel that he is the problem int he relationship) but not so soon (a month) he'll forget you, He's thinking about the fight that, what to do after this (if guys find the situation uncontrollable, they'll not make any decision instead they take time to think).
