Guy im seeing telling me one thing but others another thing?

The guy I’m seeing and i have have the same group of friends for the most part. Lately they have been telling me he talks negatively about me for example they said “he said he has been trying to leave you for months now , they said he said he doesn’t really want me , they said he said he thinks i only want sex from him”

But when he’s around me he doesn’t act like that or say those things he says “i want to see you everyday, you can spend time with me whenever you want , he cuddles with me and we have sex”

So why is he telling others something different

It sounds like his friends are trying to ruin your relationship because unless he's been more distant, they're flat out wrong. Are you cuddling less and having sex less? If that's gone down maybe there's concern but you're still having sex and still cuddling but his friends are saying nasty ass shit. To me this screams them trying to ruin your relationship because they don't like you for some reason. You need to talk to your boyfriend about this because this is going to ruin the relationship one way or another unless you and him talk about this and confront his friends.

look at it this way. Who do you trust more? The boyfriend who cuddles you or the guys friends who are saying really nasty mean things. Even if this is true the stuff they're saying and the way they're saying it is cruel.

His friends still sound like assholes but if thats the case the only thing to to is to talk to him about it and go your separate ways if he does want to rip the band aid off. Not to mention just mentioning even in a polite way that you heard this from his friends is going to be a flash bang to their relationship so if you do get dumped the good news is you can probably turn them all on each other like they deserve just by telling the truth. It's his loss frankly you actually seem pretty genuine from what I can tell based on this post that said I know nothing beyond that. Anyways yea you need to talk to him about this and tell him what his friends told you. Brace yourself though but try to at least be open to working on the relationship if he's open to trying harder too. If he thinks you only want him for sex it would be good to dispel that notion for example.
