Girls readily accept more violence against boys?

I think most people understand that there are toxic guys, simps, and good guys. The first two are usually people that range from rapists/sexual predators to misogynists/creeps. Most girls misjudge the first two guys as either being confident or nice guys, until they realize their mistake.

However, I think when it comes to women, most women seem to group together. If there is hatred directed by a woman towards a guy, they presume its justified. Violence against INNOCENT men is met with relative apathy. The only men shown empathy (whether they are deserving or not) are guys the woman has a relationship with (father, brother, friend, boyfriend), or someone they like (celebrity, crush, someone popular/good social standing). Very few woman seem to not behave in such manner.

I take a group of a thousand men, and a thousand women.
I guarantee I can find at least a few in each that finds violence against the opposite sex either funny, or deserved.

Reasonable people wonder why someone has been hit. They don't celebrate it. Because hitting someone, especially unprovoked and not actually defending yourself? That makes you volatile. You spread unease around people who prefer peace. Do some women like seeing girl bosses put men under their heel? Sure. But I wouldn't say it's the vast majority of women.

What matters most is looking at the group of decent men and decent women and seeing them as one group of decent people. By always focusing on gender, we forget to treat people as humans in a society, and give them special passes to break acceptable social etiquette and norms.

I agree with this overall - but I think immature communities exist where immature behavior, petty behavior, and abusive behavior is perpetuated. If you read the story I shared under a different answer, you can see what I am referring to. What is frustrating is to see the claim you made falter and people act poorly enabling people getting hurt. If you were to look up bu;lying statistics, you will find it shocking how widespread it is reported to be. Furthermore the entire metoo movement came to be because of widespread sexual abuse. So, while what you say sounds great in theory and how things should be... it seems the reality is different. What do you think?

Let me rethink what I was getting at, then, or at least answer your reply as it is. Let's split an invisible line between everyone in the world. Where is the line? I am not sure. But on one side, you have men and women who at least feel bad and see through the bullying for what it is. They care about context. They don't see someone for their gender or appearance, although they are still influenced by bias and gut anxiety based off various past observations. They understand there are two sides to every story and they try to see what fist flung first or why.

And then you have everyone on the other side of the line that believes in their manufactured reality told to them by The Narrative™ and based their worldview off of word of mouth and algorithms pushing them stories that resonate with them the most, even if those stories are about how much "Group of whoever" sucks.

What matters is that people still care even when a lot don't have the time or effort to think about it. Perhaps that number is higher than I might like to believe it is, that many people in the world just got straight out of the jungle where hivemind mentality meant survival. But just because 20% of the population cares about what's fair doesn't mean they should stop because 80% don't. In fact, I'd argue it makes them even more important.

Hopefully if you respond it isn’t foaming at the mouth like other anonymous rabid dogs BUT I’d say your personal beliefs/experiences are definitely biased because I don’t know a single woman who wouldn’t agree that violence against anyone is wrong. Man or woman we aren’t just going to “accept” or approve senseless violent behavior.

I would like to say the same since I used to think the same. However, after witnessing what is almost a scripted teen drama/ soap opera from tv shows, I have seen a very toxic narcissistic popular girl suffer zero consequences for shaming and harassing an innocent guy in my college circle. She went after this guy vindictively for no understandable reason.

Ultimately, it made him have self doubt, and insecurities until my group befriended him and pushed back at this girl which finally got her to shut up. When we asked our mutual female friends why this psycho was after him - they only said "he probably deserved it and they weren't too aware or didn't really care" - even though this girl was making it a point to blurt insults at him everywhere and spread lies and rumors and encourage her minions to do the same. Which truly upset me - the amount of slack they were giving this bitch. The guy did not understand it either, especially because this girl would never directly attack him, but do it behind his back and try to steer anyone he talked to against him. He was also doing fine for a while, but this bitch was relentless in her pursuit - and once again not one girl in our environment said anything to her.

After some digging - it turns out this guy had once paid a compliment to the girl. He was not from the area ( he was from small town across the country with very little. exposure to anything outside of it), and that egged on some people he was hanging out with initially ( a group of nerds) to tease him. One of these nerds who he was friends with was jealous of his intelligence, and he took advantage of the fact he was new and kept giving him misinformation. This included him completely misrepresenting the bitch earlier, and setting him up for failure by pretending to being him online and sending fake messages and what not. The bitch herself was his friend and was in on the lies but not to the level she thought either - he had made deeper lies about this new guy to convince her to go along with this stint.

Ultimately we only had 1 female friend push back on this bitch. The rest kind of just wanted to stay out of the drama or excused her saying the new guy should have known better. Some even said guys manipulate girls all the time. so why can't the bitch.

It was toxic side of some of the girls we were acquainted with and it was eye opening to see the double standards, bias, and bullshit applied on a gender basis and for someone they held at a high position (the bitch) - even though they admitted the behavior was evil. We had another incident where a guy of the same race as some of these girls got bullied and these girls were readily talking about how un-American that was - a pack of complete hypocritical bullshit.

I had never truly paid attention to bullying prior to this - I had never seen anything this incessant play out in front of me where some girl was so obsessed with defaming and harming a guy psychologically. She unleashed all sorts of lies, manipulation, and mental games against him. I ultimately let this girl know that if she ever approaches this guy again - I will make sure she regrets it (my friend were not easy targets since all of us were athletes in a notable local karate group and friends with most guys in the area) - which made her finally leave him alone. We also pushed back on the jealous nerd and exposed him... which made him shut up and ultimately transfer out of the area.

I don't. One of my brothers was put in the hospital by his ex. I will always try to get the full picture. I don't jump to conclusions.
