It's called a romance fraud scam. They are funding their lifestyle by taking advantage of naive men that aren't receiving love from women in real life. If she is asking you then she is probably asking 10, 20, 100 other men for the same thing. She may not even be a woman. It's a massive red flag. Run don't walk away.

They do? I don't use social media anymore. I was banned from FB in 2010, and haven't returned to it.

Nice to meet you! FB is weird. Instagram is weird. Both owned by the same company. I don't understand the algorithms they use. They never felt fair to me. Like they let the popular people do what they want, and the less popular people get into trouble for the least little thing.
