Lets try this again... Do you think there is such a thing as toxic masculinity. If so can you give an example of seeing it?

I see things in film and on TV broadcasts that I see as examples of men trying desperately to appear as the Alpha Male... as opposed to perhaps being seen as the 'straight forward techie geek i. e. the AI techie geek type with a 24 hour hour unshaven look (Jason Stratham style) or Tom Cruise parading around as 'Reacher" in front of a co-star - (after her telling him to put his shirt on)

Those are things I see as desperate men trying to appear macho, and I see it as 'toxic' in terms of having any real relationship with them.

Unfortunately, it does exist, and it's a little too common, especially in this day in age.
Here are some of the things I've encountered in my personal experience and seen in different forms:
- Men who believe they are entitled to your time, or a woman's time—It's one thing to strike up a random conversation while you're in line or at a bar. It's another to actively seek and not read the body language of the other person, and get upset when the person doesn't want to talk to you. Some men will call you a bitch for simply not wanting to talk to them. They will force a conversation forward, even if you verbally say you're just trying to vibe alone (either you're not in the mood to converse, or maybe you're a shy person).

- Men with toxic masculinity have double standards. An Example: A man who sleeps with as many women as possible is seen as a player or a stud, but a woman who sleeps with as many men as possible is seen as a "used-up generational graveyard" (I've seen this on various platforms). They will always find ways to make either their sex and/or themselves look better than others via double standards. Not to say women don't have double standards (because my god, we do), it is far more prevalent in men with toxic masculinity. These types of men will actively brag about getting 5+ women pregnant in their open (or even closed) relationship, but will slander a woman if she sleeps with another man in an open relationship and doesn't get pregnant.

- Toxic men will value the opinions and thoughts of other men over women all day, every day, and will instantly ignore or argue input from women or men who think the opposite of them. They instead take their opinion and will apply it to believe that the opposite sex feels and thinks the same way. A prime example of this: Toxic men believe women find the character Thor hot because he has muscles, looks, and is depicted as the traditionally attractive man. (From what I've seen, these men never actually comment on Thor's characteristics besides his physical design.) When in a small discussion forum aimed toward a mostly female audience, the majority of women find Loki more attractive. Not only because of looks (Most said they prefer him because of the fact he wasn't as physically masculine), but they also point out how he is a well-rounded character who is a bit more complex than Thor. Most toxic men, however, disapprove of this because it simply doesn't line up with what they think women think, and because of their own personal view of what a "real man" looks like: Big, strong, handsome, untouchable, and what society deems "masculine." Also, a less toxic man (who is on the verge of having toxic masculinity) will listen to men over women. They will not listen when a woman says "no" or "maybe", but they will the moment another man steps in and says "no" or "maybe" for the woman. They simply value similar ideals from men over everyone else.

- The whole "nice guy" conversation. Most toxic men will always say they're the good guy, and how women never give them the chance to get close... when really, you can tell that they're a red flag from a mile away. They either lack critical thinking, have no emotional intelligence, or empathy doesn't exist in their vocabulary. These are the type of men who will say "females" when referring to women. While saying Female isn't inherently bad, it depends on how it is used, and they fail to comprehend how it can be dehumanizing when used in casual conversation. I. E.: "These females don't know a thing about ___."
A dog can be female. A bee can be female. A flower can be female. But woman specifically refers to a female human. If a woman referred to toxic men as "males", they would be livid (I've done this to prove a point on another platform. He proceeded to bomb my account with hate comments until I blocked him.)

I could honestly go on and list more examples/experiences, but I don't wanna be a yapatron LMAO. This is just a small list of what I've personally encountered and read about. Overall, Toxic masculinity is very broad and varies on levels to the point it deserves its own 4+ hour iceberg video on YouTube. 😅

Of course there is and it is found absolutely everywhere.

An example that happened to me again no later than this afternoon is when I was trying to shop for staples in the shopping mall and minding my own business, this guy would just approach me totally uninvited and attempt to initiate a conversation.

Do women really have to wear a t-shirt or top where "NOT INTERESTED" is written in large and bold letters?

Why is it that men always have the feeling that they have to address total strangers, mainly women? I am perfectly aware what their ultimate intentions are. And when you tell them that you are not interested, they are offended...

I have struck up a conversation, many times in a Mall, with strange women, and outside my favorite coffee shop, with no preconceived intent whatsoever. Simply to pet their K9 or their Tesla, like mine. Never will nor intend to see them once again with any intent

Yes it exists. You see it every day on here.

Example: The devaluation of women, feminine traits, and LGBTQ+ individuals. This often manifests as sexist jokes, discrimination, control over partners, and a rigid adherence to heteronormativity.
