They experience a similar 4 phase cycle to women but its everyday. Testosterone going up and down depending on the time of day. So really just a hormonal thing for them but yeah I notice it being worse than womens because we are more mentally prepared for things like pms and our period but men are never like its 6pm i might be getting cranky then because my T is dropping 😂 they just start acting like a douchebag instead

m 10 movery very open topic... how to judge what's bad or good, better of worse..
I think one key difference between the genders and mood swings is... how we regulate negative emotions and on that one aspect... I think it's very clear that it is mostly men who tend to become way more overreactive (as in intense physical violence) and end up getting in trouble acting up over mood swings
but if we're talking about "frequency" then, it is clearly more often when women have these mood swings and they "openly display them" while men internalize them, so then it would seem as if men were more able to control mood swings, while women just "get emotional more often"
so, again... in general, it might seem like women blow off steam way more often but to a lesser degree, while men blow off steam a lot less but when they do, they blow up in more explosive ways... and on that, it depends on what you see as "worse" lol...10 Reply

10 moNot in my experience. Not the guys I've always had around me as friends. Women seem to always have their own private narrative running in their head alongside reality. They make themselves crazy, depressed, elated constantly. Most guys don't do that. Most of us are grounded in the moment not living in the past thinking about people who have wronged us or dreaming about some crisis that may never happen. That's exclusively a thing women do. It's driven by insecurity and anxiety in my opinion. That's also the reason women can be absolutely shitty towards other women whereas as guys never think about that sort of thing.

10 moFalse. Some men may and some may go the other direction in rage... especially when on "roids" and such. But women... especially strongly right brained ones... are on another level.

m 10 moMen in psy hospitals, men undergoing therapy, men in jail, men shooting themselves at point blank, men breathing their own fire but backwards. Oh yes, just as bad as women.
We even create movies with this, or internet influencers, turning them into modern role models. Obviously we're not going to say they have mood swings.
We're going to call this charisma, masculinity, strength of character.

10 moThat's like saying women are as strong as men.
There are SOME women that are stronger than SOME men, but MOST men are stronger than the majority of women.
Same goes for here. SOME men have mood swings just as bad as women do, but MOST women have mood swings more so than men. They literally have a monthly cycle that makes their hormones fluctuate. Not many men can compete with those kinds of mood swings. You'd have to be daft to believe men are equal to women in that regard.11 Reply - 664 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic.
10 mooh yeah and unfortunately a lot of dudes don't know how to handle it. emotional maturity is a skill we should all learn. and because a lot still believe in the myth that men are not emotional, it leads to things like this. so its true

10 moSome what Disagreeā¦
We do just not as often at least in my experience, and Iām going to say it because no one else is āmood swings are not the issueā taking it out on others is. I refuse to call a male or Female that has no self control a Man or a Woman. They have not earned that level of maturity yet.10 Reply
10 moVery false. I've worked in male only jobs, and when a woman started working there drama appeared. Men are general quite stable emotionally from day to day. The mood doesn't swing that hard unless something drastic happens to them. Emotionally speaking I feel nearly every day is the same for me.

10 moAgree. I donāt have mood swings. Iām pretty calm and patient, but I know when who just get triggered so easily. We all have different personalities and upbringings.. I feel like that plays a role too

10 moReally depends on the man and depends on the woman to be honest. Anyone can have mood swings especially if theyāre going through things. Taking it out on people who donāt deserve it? Thatās another story.
10 ReplyMen donāt get a pass for mood swings
So when we do have them they manifest in indirect ways
Subtle behavior changes that come and go
But yes we are all bound by this human feature10 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)10 moI think the better way of putting that is, "Are men capable of emotions same as women?" The answer to this, of course is, "yes". I know a lot of women, Women on this site's failing is not realizing this. A lot of women assume men do not have feelings because they do not wear thier feelings as frequently as women do. Men are taught very early on not only by women but thier own gender as well that there is a high price to be paid for showing feelings.
10 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. false men don't have mood swing usually they keep feeling bottle up inside up until they blow up but they do not have mood swing everyday like many women.

9 moI think social media has warped a lot of our brains, and therefore everyone are far more prone to rapidly shifting moods... too much stimuli for everyone
10 ReplyI agree we also go through emotional times but I would say most of us are better at handling it is all
10 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Disagree. It is socially ok for a woman to have a hissy fit but it is not a good look for a guy. Even gay guys can't get away with it.

10 Reply I agree. Lorazepam and Clonazepam come in handy. Also mirtazepam, at least to help with depression and most of all, help you get through several sleepless nights where you're sleep deprived
