Is it possible to be attractive but yet barely ever get attention from guys?

I get called attractive a lot. But barely get much attention from guys.

Yes it's possible. It happens all the time. If you are indeed really attractive, especially at your age, you're gonna scare off most guys your age with low self esteem or low confidence. They'll assume they don't have a chance with you and that you'll just reject them. It'll get better as you get older but that's not gonna do you much good right now.

This may help. Help them out. Give a moron a hand. Start the conversation. With just one sentence like... How was your week? Looking forward to the start of football season? Man this summer was brutal wasn't it? Pass me that menu if you're done? Then just go silent. See if he picks up the ball from there. At that point you've let him know you're willing to interact at some level.

I notice i get called attractive a lot. But guys never flirt with me. They would just tell me I look good or call be beautiful but then thats it.

As others have already said, if you're introverted and quiet with a (unintentional) resting bitch face (like me) people are NOT going to approach you even if you're attractive. I do it purposely. And intimidating people works for me most of the time.

But you may have to get out of your natural comfort zone. Smile. Make a playful comment. As a guy a question. Be approachable. Or just be forward and playful... "hey dummy, talk to me". Make him LOL to break the ice.

so this is just another example of where a guy would just tell me im beautiful. but all the other answerers said that this is not a sign that he is flirting with me.

Similarly, a few years ago, the same thing happened where a guy went up to me gave me a fist bump, told me I was so pretty then he just immediately turned to the other guards and said bye to them. He didn't smile at me or try to talk to me at all.

Its just happened so much.

I will admit, not everyone will find me pretty but definitely a lot of people keep telling me im attractive. I just stand there awkwardly finding it hard to accept the compliment, due to the fact that I just get almost no attention from guys.

The way things are these days you could be really hot and you might intimidate guys because they're going to either think that they're not good enough and you know if they fuck anything up you'll just leave for the next guy waiting in line

Are you attractive but not outgoing? If you're just hanging around waiting for a guy to start the conversation, that's not going to help. Get in there and throw them the ball. Smile and ask how they're doing or what they're doing for fun.

That's very possible. My sister is like that. She's an extremely physically attractive woman, but her personality just gives off hostility.

Yeah possible
