Does he sound interested in me?

He plays a lot of mind games. He says he isn’t into me, but then compliments me a lot, smirks at me when I licked my upper lip, showed signs of jealousy when I was talking about other men, said he enjoys spending time with me, he said I rocked his world… he dismisses all of this as being friendly, he says he is like it with everybody. But my gut says different. He is in a long term relationship so he’s not somebody I’d pursue, but I feel like he’s hot then cold with me because he’s conflicted between his long term partner and me.

I’d like opinions from men. I don’t understand how his brain works.

He’s the one who showed signs of being into me. I never expressed any sort of attraction towards him. Staring at me and smirking isn’t the behaviour of a man who isn’t interested, along with the other things I listed.
