Why did my male friend did this?

Ok this is long. I met my male friend a last year ago, we hit it off and really connected well to the point he invited me and my brother to his house where is family live as guest and we spend so much time together. He was so loving, considerate. Always talk to him and listened to me, we encourage eachother, we enjoyed eachother space and we did music as well. We did karaoke together and we danced and played games together. We laughed like we fully understand eachother and I loved it but, I didn’t want to ruin our friendship because of liking him a little more and plus, it was too early for that anyway. So I kelp it cool. But, I started noticing things. He started showing marriage things around me and he would look at me and then we even sung a marriage song which was weird. he never mention these things before. The times we hang out with my brother and his little cousin. We talked among ourselves and had beautiful conversations. Then, he said “ I think this guys likes you and why you going to do about it? And I said “ hahaha I don’t know this man” lol 😆. Then we I was in the front seat in his car, when he talked to him, he kelp poking me as he talked to me. So I didn’t think of it. Just being a friend but, all of a sudden, he changed, he started distancing himself away from me and only taking to my brother now, he doesn’t text me as much anymore. I don’t know what happened. I think his family talked to him about the situation between us.
