So, me and some buds are at this bar, and after the waitress takes our order, my friend gives her a playful swat on the behind. Instead of the usual giggle, the girl spins around and snarls "Keep your hands to yourself!" She said it in a rude tone and loud enough that people at the next table turned and looked. My friend was so embarrassed!! But she marched off, and we all kind of laughed it off.

Then, out of the corner of my eye I saw Miss Uptight in the back talking to a dude, who I figured must be the manager, gesticulating with her hands. Oh, brother, what now? Next thing you know, a different waitress brought our drinks, with no explanation.

Okay, maybe my friend was a bit out of line. But was the waitress right to make a freaking federal case out of it? I think she was trying to get us kicked out!

There's a reason some women call the cops on behaviour like that, whenever or not it was a light prank there are cases where the guy does it on purpose, it escalates and it can go very badly. If she serves you again, i'd apologise on his behalf to her to calm the situation down and look responsible.
