Is he just being a wimp?

Hey guys, need your thoughts.

I have this crush and I've noticed, when I'm with him, he doesn't really joke around or banter much. He seems serious when he's talking to me, like he's aloof. But when he's with other people, his playful side comes out, he tells a lot of jokes, and he's joking around.
I really feel like he treats me differently 😭 I don't know if it's good or bad.

He does talk to me, but every time we're together, there's unspoken tension, especially when there's silence —

As I said, I have a crush on him, so I'm trying to get closer to him (like just normal convos, not trying too hard to get his attention) but the way he acts makes me wonder if he's annoyed.

So I’m stuck thinking: I don't know if he hates me or if he's just shy or what 😭

I don’t know. The only way to know is ask him….. Be direct. If you play games you can chase him off either assuming you’re not interested if he is interested…. Or if he’s not interesting creeping him out and making him feel uncomfortable.

Worst case senario is, you’re rejected. You can move on you have closure and aren’t wasting your time and energy on someone whose into you. If he is interested…. You won’t waste your time just for him to move on.

Because there is probably other women into him and attraction can come and go.

My first thought is that he is shy or worried about looking foolish around you as he wants to impress you. I suggest giving it time to see if he changes.
