Excited about pregnancy then blocked me for 3 months why?

I’ve been seeing this guy on and off for seven years. At the end of last year, I got pregnant. When I told him, he was excited. He came over, talked about the baby, and said he doesn’t believe in abortions.

The next day, I asked him how present he planned to be in the child’s life because I didn’t want to raise the child alone. His response felt vague and a little excuse filled so I told him if he wasn’t going to be active, I wouldn’t keep the pregnancy.

The following day, we had a small argument unrelated to the pregnancy, and he blocked me. I stayed blocked for three months during the pregnancy. He didn’t reach out, clarify what he meant, or try to talk things through and I even contacted him on different numbers.

Now, months later, he’s back saying I misunderstood him, that he would have been at appointments, would have been present, and that he wanted the child.

I’m confused because if he really wanted the baby, why block me for three months instead of clarifying when I asked how involved he would be? Does this sound like someone who panicked under pressure or someone who never intended to be involved?

More than likely he isn’t ready for a child. It was an unplanned pregnancy I’m assuming. The argument was just his way of trying to get outbid there. Good luck raising that kid on your own. I doubt he will really be there. Especially if he was young. I’m wouldn’t be surprised if he was plowing other women w in those 3 months. Now he’s back. Probably try to get more sex out of you since he can’t get you pregnant again, so raw dogging it all the way.

He doesn't want it or isn't sure. It doesn't sound by his initial reaction that he was ever on board.
