How can I firmly get a creepy coworker to leave me alone at work?

I always seem to attract freaks, sometimes I partly blame myself because im too polite and friendly in person and try not to judge others on face value.

These men end up thinking because I was nice to them once there for i owe them all my attention even though most time im working and im married. Im being polite because im at work not because I have an interest in them.

I have a lot of polish female friends and I joke but I wish I was as unapproachable as them lol 🤣. If you know you know polish people dont take shit from no one and are very direct they don't even have to say anything yoh just know in there face and voice.

there's this cleaner on nights called mark and he only knows me because im friends with the cleaners on days. I've never really gone out my way to get to know Mark as he's very annoying and rude.

he's one of these older men who still lives with his parents and had never had a woman yet thinks he's a man of the world and better then everyone else and tries to make fun of others when in fact he's really stupid.

he's super tall and walks around doing nothing just has his mouth open all day and talks like he's just took a spoon full of hot syrup.

He hangs around 3 hours before his shift starts and 3 hours after his shift finishes.

he's constantly trying to talk utter nonsense to me when im trying to work in a very fast paced environment and I just dont have tome for his stupid comments. he's constantly staring at me and standing in my way but won't say anything just to get my attention.

Lately I've been pretending to not hear him when he's trying to get my attention.

He hangs around with a group of men on nights too and he stalks my fb as well and will try start conversations about that too with me. The guys he hangs around with one was moved to his shift for stalking me, one is a pedophile and the other just hasn't been caught yet so you can understand why I don't want him around

You can't really report someone for talking to you at work. he's not saying anything rude just annoying and asks lots of stupid questions and tries to make himself look smart when he's actually really stupid. If I went to HR they'd say "so what has he done?" And my reply was "spoke to me" im gonna get laughed out the office

I suggest you report him to management and let them deal with it.

He is doing more than talking to you. He is disrupting you so you cannot focus on doing your job. I suggest you tell him he cannot hang around you anymore.

But he needs you to do it so that he’s aware of just how little chance he has. If he’s attached himself to you, it’s because he believes you’re someone you’re not and his lack of awareness of his behavior needs to be brought to light by making him feel like shit and shattering that image. It’s the only way short of getting HR involved, which won’t actually change him it’ll just get you moved somewhere else
