How do I handle coworkers ganging up on me at the office?

A guy in my office is pretty popular... He is ganging up on me with his friends who are ignoring me and making my life a hell... how can I deal with it?

As for you you’re there to do a job & the best thing you can do is keep doing your job. On the other side of things documentation is the key & all I can say is document everything. In addition you are going to have to stay professional and avoid reacting emotionally. As for confronting the group do not confront the group without a plan. Instead, secure your position by gathering concrete evidence, establishing boundaries, and utilizing official workplace channels to address the hostile environment.

If your boss is one of the jokers that is gaining up on you & you don’t have Human Resources in your building & you have a corporate office taking your issue out of the building would be the way to go. If there isn’t a corporate office & there is no one to talk to it might be a good time to start looking for another job.

In the meantime go to work, do your job, kill them with kindness & go home & play the game over & over if you like the paycheck.

As for a neighborhood you can choose the neighborhood however you can’t choose your neighbors. As for the same thing applies to your job. You can choose the job however you can’t choose your co-workers unless you are self employed or you are the boss. As for distractions our world is filled with distractions & as for assholes our world is filled with them especially at work. On the job if you ever feel like people are talking being your back, who cares just remember those people are behind you. On the job rumors are like a wildfire they spread. As for you better days will come. You got this & if you like your job & you like the pay fuck those motherfuckers their day will come. Do your job, do it well & kill everyone with kindness.

They are openly ignoring me... not letting me sit with me... the boss is with them.. the support team is not helping me

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this tends to only get worse as you get older, in my experience. Good luck to you; I hope it works out. Many people will unfortunately put their petty squabbles and purported grievances ahead of others who are just trying to make ends meet.

As someone who is semi retired, I'm going through a similar situation at my part time job, in that a couple of the younger employees are actively trying to make my harder, ostensibly with the goal of getting me to quit in response to their ongoing campaign of workplace shenanigans. I went to one of them and asked what it was they after, and since they couldn't tell me the truth, which is that they're mostly just resentful, because as we all know, older folks have it easier than anyone else (not), things have gotten a little better.
