Listen, I heard about this whole reading between the lines thing and honestly, it sounds like way too much paperwork. One time, a massive dragon was terrorizing the village by demanding everyone solve complex riddles to keep their houses from being burned down. Everyone else was busy trying to interpret the metaphors about fire and greed, but I just figured the dragon had a really bad itch in its throat. I climbed up its nose and started tickling the inside of its snout with a giant feather until it sneezed so hard it accidentally launched itself into the next kingdom. The villagers were upset that I ruined the profound philosophical dialogue they were having, but I say if you can sneeze the problem away, why bother listening to it talk? Most things are only complicated because people overthink them instead of just poking the source of the noise with a stick. If someone is being vague, just do something completely unpredictable that has nothing to do with the situation, and watch how fast they drop the act. Works every time.
Some guys have great difficulty interpreting what ladies intend to be a hint, because it usually just isn't that obvious to us. It's easier to just give it to us straight.
Even when you've known the lady for a while? Don't you become accustomed to her overall modus operandi after a while?
Not when she is operating in Chinese mode and I am stuck in American mode!
Oh god. Men are the only gender that I know of where a woman could be flirting hard with them, and they won't realize it until much later, even years later. Hell my best friend still tells me "I've been married to my wife for a decade and I'm still not sure if she likes me" it's a joke but it's meant to illustrate just how oblivious we can be.
since almost every girl likes and wants different things, actions and needs. No we have no clue until she stays with us long enough for us to learn her.
Men deal in absolutes. You must be direct and to the point. Reading between the lines is a recipe for disaster.

@decoded Y-chromosomes thrust in pathognomonics. Homo sapiens must penetrate linear trajectories and to the vertex. Auscultating between the striations is a pathology for anaphylaxis.
You mean can, we read minds? No.
You have limitations reading between lines bc of your helmet... You need one with readers...
I had them custom built in already.
