Why are so many men intimidated by strong, independent women?

Some men - I don't know how many, are not necessarily intimidated by strong women, but they prefer submissive women, so an independent woman is not a good match. And some arrogant, aggressive women use that question as a shield to deflect attention away from their own arrogant and aggressive behavior.

All self-proclaimed "strong, independent" women are not simply strong and independent. Someone who is strong and independent does not need to make that declaration about their identity, just like a man who is a leader does not need to tell others that he is an "alpha" male.

Look how many in this thread are bucking up against the idea of not being afraid when the truth is a lot of them are so when it comes to women expressing opinions counterintuitive to their own and standing by our points debating back with them or when we choose a career over having babies or dating them.

Truth is, there are guys out there who are afraid because it means them no longer having control over us and them losing power which threatens their manhood for some reason. They aren't secure with themselves.

Now i am not saying all men do this. Some men are great and support strong, independent women. The ones who whine though aren't really men. They are overgrown babies who are mad they aren't getting their way.

Because these traits can trigger specific social conditioning and underlying insecurities. I don't see it much in the real world, but on here you can see evidence of it multiple times a day.

We aren't. Obviously evolution evolved men to not invest in women who show no signs of being able to bond and instead just to bang them.

The women in the bang-only category prefer to label their category as intimidating to make themselves feel better.

Men are not intimidated by strong, independent women. The sad fact is that many / most women who are, or call themselves simply don't know ho to treat a man, they don't know how to be feminine, and they usually have unappealing personalities.

If you were actually a man, you would know that men are not intimidated by such women, they just have no interest in them.
