How do you cope with unrequited love for a flatmate as a guy?

I know men fall in love way easier than women, and women never do, especially with their flatmate.
I had a bad case of it. I am forced to live with her as it's a prepared place to live. And I killed my feelings.
There are still times when I am just aroused, agitated, angry and stressed about looking at her.
But now it's like I am rude to her.
So I try not to talk, those are the feelings which went numb into anger.
We did reconnect again but now it's not the same, it's never going to be same
