Would you pinch your SO's ass in public (or are you completely against any sort of PDA)?

I had a good laugh yesterday at a fair. A couple who's been married for 20+ years were volunteering along with me -- she was at the ticket booth and he was running security.

Days 1-3 were a little funny bc he'd always end up standing outside her booth, his back to her, glaring whoever was passing by. No one really thought anything of it. We just thought he was preoccupied about the cash box and trying to keep his gal safe.

Day 4 she was wearing a lovely (conservative) jumper, and he stopped, reached over, pinched her ass and turned away as she scoffed and looked behind her. He glanced at her with complete wide-eyed innocence and asked "What happened?" then looked at me and the other volunteer, who just grinned. So sweet to see two people together that long who can still be like that around each other.

Having said that, a lot of people In know are not into PDA, even simple hand-holding.

When you say pinch, I envision a pinch like when someone pinches your cheek or takes a pinch of salt to sprinkle in food. I'm assuming what you meant was grab?

I'm not really too comfortable with PDA. I'm the kind of guy that is okay with hugs for as long as they want and quick pecks on the lips (not prolonged kissing action). I also think grabbing your SO's butt while hugging isn't off limits. For some reason, I don't cringe seeing that, whereas I do when I see people French kissing in public. Grabbing a butt isn't a big deal (as long as it's your SO's 😂)
