I don't know how other guys operate because I only dated women.

I have two sets of coffee cups. One says "King" and the other says "Queen." When Ms. Helen moved in with me, I gave her a queen cup and told her that was a reminder that she deserves to be treated like a queen every day. Then, I pulled down a king cup and told her this was a reminder that I deserve to be treated like a king every day.

It's working well, so far, and it's just one example that embodies the Golden Rule.

See. I'd expect that to be the relationship even without the reminder. There was a song I learned as s kid. You probably know it. "Lavender Blue". It was supposed to help the music teacher test out every kid's vocal range. Every September we'd each stand in front of her and sing it and she'd place us in our seats for the year. One year was AWFUL bc all the boys' voices were cracking! I still remember the look on her face. LOL!!!

I think men generally put more effort into relationships in the beginning and once they see the woman's effort is lacking after a while, they start to match their energy and performance level. Then women start to wonder where the romantic guy was that they were dating in the beginning

It's just... I'm only seeing fellows within my age range, so it's strange that the values are so... odd.

Then two guys (who are besties) said that even guys my age are not looking for someone like me, they're looking for a young thing to make babies with. in my opinion it was just mean.
