I have two bosses at work (A&B). We are all in our mid to late 20s. A (focused, quietly confident) is always in office and B (super outgoing/ charismatic, has tattoos) is planning to move here in the next year. B has just been visiting every now and then.
During a summer work event, I saw that A was being very friendly to my boyfriend and starting conversations. B did not engage with my boyfriend much. During the night, B photobombed a lot of my photos including ones with my boyfriend.
B visited again recently and I extended a handshake but he went for a hug. Over the week he asked multiple times what I was eating, had said that he liked my outfit, just a lot of little reasons to talk to me. He asked in front of the whole office “hey, how’s your boyfriend? I don’t remember his name. I like his vibe, he seems wholesome, I just wanna hug him ”. I think he recently got out of a relationship. But he’s also been openly bringing new girls he meets around the team. We went out 2 days in a row during the weekend. At karaoke the first night (my boyfriend wasn’t there), B said I looked good, sat really close next to me, changed a word in a song to my name. I surprised him by knowing Bad Omens and sang a song with him. While he was with another girl, he still talked to me. On the 2nd night, I was photographing our coworker’s concert and he found reasons to talk to me while I was off stage. He brought up how I surprised him by knowing Bad Omens and wanted to introduce me to Sleep Token. Again, I didn’t see him talk to my boyfriend much but at the end he invited my boyfriend to karaoke next time. And then after, he came up to me to tell me he invited my boyfriend. The next day B sent me “Alkaline” by Sleep Token. If you don’t know the lyrics… “ I'm caught up in her design, And how it connects to mine, I see in a different light, The objects of my desire... Ooh, let's talk about chemistry.. Either born in hell or heaven-sent, But either way I'm into it
