I have these occasional events where I go out and hang out with a group of people. The group is large enough that not everyone knows each other. Recently there has been this guy that I openly admitted that he is pretty attractive but the other people in the group have warned me away due to him being an asshole or crazy. So other than my attraction to his looks I haven't really tried to interact or get to know the dude.
Recently I would zone out and I feel like either I'm just zoning out in his direction because of that slight attraction, or he is putting himself in my view because more often than not I see myself staring over in his general vicinity. Once I catch myself looking at him though, I see him staring at me first so I quickly avoid my eye contact and continue on with the event.
I know that it's self is not a lot, but today I put another thing together. He interacts with everybody I interact with or I'm currently interacting with seemingly out of nowhere. It's the littlest of stuff that he points out on everybody that I'm interacting with but he never really interacts with me either. He brings up stuff that I was talking about to the person I was talking to like they were the one who was discussing the topic when it was me discussing it.
But he hasn't completely cold shoulder me either, there's been a few instances where he said one word to me and then quickly ran away to go back to helping with the events, but it was always something that sounded like it was a joke and that was needing a response back to it but he would always evade before I could even think of a response.
Anyways, I guess I am asking if I'm overthinking that this guy might be into me too or maybe I'm just looking too much into it because I find him mildly attractive.
